I'm a philosopher of science, which (broadly) means I ask what science is, what the rationale is behind scientific arguments, what values scientists look for in a theory, what constitutes good evidence, and so on. As of August 2015 I'm working as assistant professor at California State University, Northridge where I teach philosophy as it relates to education in the teacher preparation track within the Liberal Studies program. I also teach in the Philosophy department.

In June 2015 I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy and Science Studies from the University of California, San Diego, under the supervision of Nancy Cartwright. Others on my dissertation committee were Craig Callender, Christian W├╝thrich, Cathy Gere, Tal Golan, and Hasok Chang.

Before the Ph.D. I received a Masters degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India.
